{"id":7862,"date":"2023-03-04T23:46:16","date_gmt":"2023-03-04T12:46:16","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/writefromsource.com\/?p=7862"},"modified":"2023-03-04T23:46:17","modified_gmt":"2023-03-04T12:46:17","slug":"self-reflection","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/writefromsource.com\/?p=7862","title":{"rendered":"Self-reflection"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>So \u2013 what we\u2019ve just gone through is a very quick taster of one of the ways you can begin to explore themes and purpose.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Your name at birth (and the environment you were born into) can point to purpose<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The things that bring you Joy can point to purpose.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The things you know enough about to teach can point to purpose.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The Lessons you have to learn \u2013 can point to purpose.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The courses\/workshops you are attracted to \u2013 can point to purpose<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>This method is centred on <strong>Self-Reflection.<\/strong><br><br>Self-reflection also provides an opportunity for growth and can be used to understand our Point of View or the emotions we attach to our experiences.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The questions you answered here were simply to find out of there was already a link you hadn\u2019t been aware of &#8211; between the activities that bring you \u2018joy\u2019 and the work you do \u2013 or the things you do on a daily basis but the list of questions you can explore is endless.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Self-reflection should be done in a structured way with some guidance (or else it can spiral) but if you can make a start yourself by exploring questions such as:<br><br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Am I using my time wisely?<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Am I being true to myself?<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Have I set realistic goals \u2013 aligned to the things I want to do in life?<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>What does it mean to be a good person?<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>What do I want my life to mean?<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>How can I better connect with others?<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Do things happen for a reason?<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>What\u2019s the best way for me to live?<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>What do you think I\u2019m particularly good at?<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>How do you think I\u2019ll leave my mark on the world?<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Delving deeper into self-reflection with your Journal is a valuable tool when it comes to identifying your themes and your soul purpose.
